Return & Refund Policy LureaGlow
At LureaGlow, we are committed to providing high-quality beauty and self-care devices and ensuring full compliance with South African consumer protection legislation. This policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA") and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECTA").
1. No Change-of-Mind Returns
In accordance with the CPA, customers do not have the right to return goods or request a refund due to a change of mind, including situations where the product does not meet personal expectations.
All sales of LureaGlow products are considered final once delivered, unless a valid statutory right to return applies under South African law.
2. Hygiene & Safety Products
For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of devices that have been:
- Opened
- Used
- Tampered with
unless the product is defective upon receipt. This is in line with Section 20(3) of the Consumer Protection Act.
3. Cooling-Off Period for Online Purchases
In accordance with Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, customers who purchase products online from LureaGlow may cancel the transaction within 7 (seven) days of receiving the goods, without reason and without penalty.
Conditions:
- Goods must be returned in their original condition
- The customer is responsible for the direct cost of return shipping
- Refunds will be processed once the goods are received and inspected
4. Defective or Faulty Goods (30-Day Warranty & 6-Month Protection)
All LureaGlow devices come with a 30-day limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If your device stops working due to a fault within this period, we will replace it for you.
In accordance with Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, customers may also return goods within 6 (six) months of delivery if the goods are:
- Defective
- Unsafe
- Not of good quality
- Not reasonably suitable for their intended purpose
Upon valid return, customers may choose one of the following remedies:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Full refund
LureaGlow reserves the right to inspect the goods to confirm the defect before processing the remedy.
5. Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for:
- Products returned more than 7 days after delivery (for cooling-off claims)
- Products not in original condition (unless defective)
- Used hygiene-related devices (unless defective)
- Items returned without prior return approval
To the extent permitted by law, refunds will only be issued for goods returned in compliance with this policy.
6. Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Ensure your item meets the return eligibility criteria.
- Contact LureaGlow at lureaglow@gmail.com with your order number and details to request a return.
- If approved, we will provide return instructions.
Please note:
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs (unless the item is defective)
- Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted
7. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days
- Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to reflect the funds

By purchasing from LureaGlow, you agree to the following:
Product Use & Care
- LureaGlow devices are designed for personal skincare use only
- Avoid using on broken, irritated, or highly sensitive skin
- Keep away from water unless the product specifically states it is water-resistant
- Always charge with the provided USB cable and avoid third-party chargers
Hygiene & Safety
- For hygiene reasons, once used, devices cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty
- Stop use immediately if you experience discomfort, irritation, or an allergic reaction
- Keep devices away from children
General Disclaimer
- LureaGlow is not responsible for misuse or damage caused by failure to follow care instructions
- Warranty covers manufacturing defects only — not wear and tear, accidental damage, or misuse
- Product images are for illustration purposes; slight variations in colour or design may occur
